BT Inverter Remote

The BT Inverter Remote turns your Android device into a wireless remote. Operation is possible from 33 feet away though much greater distances have been acheived. It will work with any inverter that allows dry contact closure to enable. The IT Inverter Remote has a dry contact rated at up to 1 amp for this use. If the inverter uses a different type of remote such as a smart remote with serial or other type communication control, the BT Inverter Remote will not work unless the inverter also can be switched with some type of hardware remote port or ignition lockout. Below you will find a list of inverters known to be compatible. Keep checking as additional inverters will be listed as they are discovered.

Connect using INV terminals on BT Inverter Remote +12V to one INV terminal, the other INV terminal to the inverter ignition lockout wire. Some models may have the inverter ignition lockout available through the Xantrex remote. NOTE: You may need to purchase the proper inverter remote to use the BT Inverter Remote. |

We are currently investigating the use of many other inverters.
In some cases to control the inverter, you must place it in the proper mode. The same mode required for the operation of the manufacturer's remote. See your inverter owner's manual for the description of remote operation.
The BT Inverter Remote is supplied with BattStat which monitors the battery status. Voltage will be displayed on the Android Bluetooth device.
MOUNTING
The BT Inverter Remote should be mounted close to the inverter, within 3 feet to connect with the supplied RJ cable.
CONNECTION
There is a 4 position removable terminal block on the bottom of the BT Inverter Remote. Each of these pins is identified by the legend printed on the BT Inverter Remote faceplate as shown above. Please be sure to install an in-line fueseholder with a 1/2 amp fuse to protect the wiring to the BT Inverter Remote.
